In December 2019, Alpha Metalcraft acquired GAR Electroforming (GAR) located in Danbury, CT. A mature manufacturer and the largest and longest established full-service electroforming service center, GAR has over 44,000 square feet of manufacturing space. GAR offers a full-service in-house CNC machine shop to produce critical in-house tools and services include consultation with design and production employees, for the development of product designs which meet performance requirements. GAR’s specializes in providing composite blade leading edge abrasion electroform components utilized in aerospace & defense rotorcraft applications. GAR electroforms copper, nickel and nickel/cobalt and possesses AS9100 certification and AS9145 (PPAP) pedigree to satisfy the most stringent aerospace requirements.
