Customer Account Administrator
GAR Electroforming, (an AMG Company), located in Danbury, CT, is a high precision metal forming manufacturing facility that provides mission critical components into aerospace and defense markets.
GAR is the largest and premiere AS9100 certified electroforming supplier with over 40,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.
Current capabilities are focused on nickel and nickel/cobalt electroforms with secondary support capabilities in CNC milling, CNC turning, grinding, and polishing.
SUMMARY: GAR Electroforming is actively seeking a Customer Account Administrator to join our
Danbury, CT team.
The primary purpose of this position is to drive revenue growth in a defined business by establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships with major accounts. Additionally, this position will maintain and build up an existing group of accounts through ongoing account management and customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Some of the typical duties and responsibilities include:
- The liaison between the customer to manage and ensure orders meet customer delivery schedule and requirements.
- Lead the contract review process with support of engineering, production, quality assurance and business development.
- Manages set up of new accounts including export compliance screening.
- Generate, update, review and release ERP Reports as needed to support customer needs.
- Responsible for the acceptance, and processing of customer orders.
- This role requires monitoring order status and communicating progress to management and to the customer.
- This candidate will also be the voice of the customer to communicate and prioritize order requirements and the resolution of problems internally.
- Maintaining strong relationships with current customers and manage accounts for long term success.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Building a strong internal network to support pricing and lead times for purchase orders.
- Work directly with engineering, production, and quality assurance to determine sales, production and on time delivery goals.
- Customer Documentation Control. Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
- Collaborate with internal quoting team and customers on quote requests.
- Strategically align with senior management on organizational goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An energetic and dynamic individual who will be the primary interface between our customers and the internal organization.
- Background in manufacturing is required – machine shop and/or metal fabrication experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience.
- Minimum two to five years previous customer service experience in a manufacturing and business to business (B2B) environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, multi-task, prioritize effectively and possess a high attention to detail.
- ERP experience preferred – Epicor, a plus.
- Must be pro-active and self-directive.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Electroforming Technician

Additionally, their products also include turbine engine outer guide vane erosion sheaths as well as missile/rocket wing slot heat shield electroforms.

SUMMARY:GAR Electroforming is actively seeking a hands-on Electroforming Technician to join our Danbury, CT team.
The Electroforming Technician will primarily set up and maintain electroforming production equipment in the shop and participate in production activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Some of typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Set and maintain electroforming equipment according to prints and work instructions
- Measure, mark and mask areas to be excluded from plating as indicated in work order or drawing
- Maintain on-going communication with co-workers and supervisors regarding projects, problems incurred, etc.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts to improve on-time delivery, quality, productivity elimination of waste and 6S compliance
- Comply with all Corporate, Federal, State and Local, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety policies, regulations and standards
- Maintain baths components
- Perform quality work within deadlines
- Ability to identify non-conformity
- Foster a team environment of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing in providing production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated self-starter, ability to solve technical problems and disciplined in following established procedures
- 1-4 years of manufacturing, or relevant experience
- Mechanical background a plus

Quality Control Inspector
Connecticut Coining, located in Bethel, Connecticut, is a leading provider of precision deep-drawn parts to aerospace, defense, medical and high voltage tube markets with over 50 years of experience providing individual metal fabricated and machined parts for a broad spectrum of domestic and international customers.
SUMMARY: Connecticut Coining looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail to join our company as a Quality Control Inspector. You will inspect products both visually and with measurement tools, such as micrometers or calipers. Your job is to ensure the products we produce are of consistently high quality and adhere to relevant specifications. As a Quality Control Inspector, you are a valuable member of our manufacturing team, ensuring the highest quality of production.
RESPONSIBILITIES: – include but not limited to:
- Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspection of product to prints, drawings, and job traveler instructions, using all types of inspection equipment. Perform simple and complex set-ups and layout inspection according to written and verbal instructions.
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Communicate with customer via portal and/or email for Product Compliance / RoHS / REACH / Toxic Substance / Conflict Material / Waste Framework documentation and registration as required
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for any nonconforming material and records findings
- Maintain and keep organized inspection records
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Knowledge of IS0 9001:2015 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems

Press Set-Up Technician
Connecticut Coining, an AMG Company, located in Bethel, Connecticut, is a leading provider of precision

experience providing individual metal fabricated and machined parts for a broad spectrum of domestic
and international customers.
SUMMARY: Connecticut Coining, is looking to add an experienced Press Setup Technician to the team.
You will be working in a Punch Press facility working with 20 to 600 ton mechanical & hydraulic presses.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As a candidate you should be able to:
- Install and set up dies on to presses and possess enough mechanical ability to perform any
necessary bolting, clamping, etc. - Lift/carry dies during setup and use devices to transport heavier dies
- Check material for correct type and thickness
- Read blueprints and process sheets and use measuring equipment
- Set safety pullbacks for operators
- Inspect dies, perform dimension checks, and know when and how to sharpen and clean dies
- Evaluate product for conformance by performing first piece inspection and make frequent
dimensional and visual product checks - Confer with Quality Control personnel regarding acceptability of parts
- Work under supervision and maintain good working relationships with department employees and
others - Demonstrate good oral communication, listening skills and basic math skills
- Ability to stand, walk, grip, hold and reach for long periods of time
- Follow policies and procedures regarding standard production methods, equipment, and
operating procedures - Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard work instructions
- Forward thinking and open to continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School and/or Technical School
- At least 3 years’ experience operating/setting up punch presses.
- Manufacturing background and experience using an ERP system a plus
- US citizenship is required for technical data access compliance
